Super Eagles' Wilfred Ndidi welcomes birth of first baby

Nigerian international, Wilfred Ndidi, and his wife, Dinma, have welcomed the arrival of his newborn baby on Friday night.

The Leicester City midfielder took to his official Instagram page to announce the birth of his newborn baby girl.

"I’m Fortunate to know that ‘’God is gracious’’ - JAINA," he posted.

Ndidi has grown to become an integral part of the Premier League squad since joining them in 2017 from Genk, with 111 appearances and six goals.

The 23-year-old is also a formidable force in the Super Eagles ranks headed by German technician, Gernot Rohr.

Leicester City currently sit third on the PL table since the suspension of the league in March with 53 points, four behind second-placed Manchester City.

Brendan Rogers side are on course for another Champions League qualification if the season ends this way, after resumption or cancellation.
