World’s most valuable national football teams revealed

The world’s most valuable national teams have been revealed as the March international break cuts across club football’s calendar.

According to the latest valuations from Transfermarkt, England leads the way as The Three Lions boast a squad value of €1.62 billion.

In second place with a current squad valuation of €1.41b is France, while Spain is in third place.

The European champions boast a €1.31b squad value from their 27-man squad for the March international break.

In fourth place is Portugal with a squad value of €865 million from their 26-man roster, while the fifth place goes to Italy, who have a squad value of €858m.

Behind Italy are Brazil (€854m squad value), Germany (€817m squad value), Argentina (€782m squad value), the Netherlands (€712m) and Belgium (€549m) complete the top 10.
