As the former striker turns 40 in the World Cup season, we take a look at his only World Cup goal in the colours of the Super Eagles.

The former Everton striker scored from the spot against South Korea as the Super Eagles earned a 2-all draw against the Asians at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.

His goal came moments after missing a simple tap-in from 3 yards out which became the biggest talking point after the game.

The draw was not enough to secure qualification to the knockout stage as Nigeria crashed out of the competition in the early stages for the first time it was held on African soil.

The ex-Middlesbrough striker scored 21 goals in 57 caps for the Super Eagles from 2000 to 2012.
