Nigerian international Victor Osimhen has opened up about his relationship with his striking partners Mauro Icardi and Michy Batshuayi.

The 25-year-old, who joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan, has disclosed that he has a very good relationship with the Argentine and the Belgian internationals.

Speaking in a post-match press conference following Galatasaray’s 3-1 triumph over PAOK Salonica in the Europa League, the reigning African Footballer of the Year described Icardi as a leader and Batshuayi as a person of good character.

“We have a very good relationship with Mauro Icardi. He is also a leader. Michy Batshuayi is a very good character,” the ex-Lille attacker told the club’s official website.

“I am very happy to be at Galatasaray. We help each other as a team. If I am not there, they are there. We will continue to win as a team.”

Despite not finding the back of the net in his third game for Galatasaray, Osimhen provided another assist.

The Super Eagles striker has so far managed three assists in his first three games for the Super Lig champions.
