Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has fired a subtle warning to Liverpool following Galatasaray's narrow 1–0 victory over the Reds in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16.

Osimhen was on hand with an assist, setting up Gabonese international Mario Lemina for the only goal of the game in the first half.

The former Napoli striker has now registered seven goals and one assist in the UCL this season.

Speaking in a post-match reaction, Osimhen lauded the team’s performance while warning Liverpool of the threat Galatasaray could pose at Anfield.

“We are a family together with the Galatasaray fans. We did a very good job today,” Osimhen said.

“I think we can hurt Liverpool in the second leg. We have done a good job so far,” he added.
