We are ready for Sunshine Stars - Dele Aiyenugba

Goalkeeper Dele Aiyenugba is expecting Kwara United to give their fans something to cheer for when they host Sunshine Stars this Sunday.

Kwara United will on Sunday face Sunshine Stars in Ilorin in NPFL matchday 29 clashes with the hope of ending their 9-year home winless run against the Akure-based team.

The last time Sunshine Stars visited Ilorin was on January 19, 2020, and they returned to Akure with a point.

Kwara United goalkeeper Dele Aiyenugba while speaking with the club’s Media stated emphatically that he and his teammates are ready to extinguish the Stars on Sunday.

“We are ready for this game and what is expected from us against Sunshine Stars is nothing other than the 3 points which we shall get,” Aiyenugba explained.

Kwara United defeated Sunshine Stars 2-1 in the first match played at the Olukayode Stadium in Akure.

Kwara United are currently occupying the sixth position on the NPFL table, but a win for Biffo and his soldiers will take them back to the top four.
