We are ready for Mexico – Anayo Iwuala

Super Eagles winger, Anayo Iwuala has expressed optimism about the quality of the home-based team as they prepare for the international friendly against Mexico.

Iwuala, who has been in fine form in the league is one of three Super Eagles players to watch out for in the July 3rd friendly.

In a chat with the Super Eagles media team after Monday’s training session in Abuja, under the Enyimba international of Aba winger said the team will give Nigerians something to cheer.

“It’s been nice and fun because the players have been giving out their best for the game ahead against Mexico.”

“It is a great opportunity to give to the Home Based players to represent the nation and a task we must fulfill. We are all putting our heads together to make us fulfill that task. He said.

Iwuala, made his debut for the Super Eagles in 2022 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic in Port Novo.

He has gone to feature in match three matches for the three time African champions.
