Watch: Osimhen spotted as Arokodare steals show with hot dance at brother’s wedding

Victor Osimhen was spotted at the wedding of Super Eagles forward Tolu Arokodare’s elder brother, Lawrence Arokodare, who tied the knot with Khadijah Garba in Lagos on Saturday, Soccernet.ng reports.

The Napoli striker has been enjoying his off-season break in Nigeria, having earlier been seen at various events across Lagos — including a viral moment where he requested ten wraps of Amala and was spotted with former Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President Amaju Pinnick.

Adding to his relaxed public outings, Osimhen honoured the invitation to the Arokodare family wedding. In an exclusive photo obtained by Soccernet.ng, the 26-year-old was seen alongside his international teammate, Tolu Arokodare, as they celebrated the special occasion.

In another clip circulating online, Arokodare lit up the reception with some hot dance moves, where he drew cheers from guests.

The duo share a growing bond on and off the pitch. They both featured in Nigeria's 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying clash against Zimbabwe at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, where Osimhen opened the scoring shortly after Arokodare came on to replace Samuel Chukwueze.

That appearance fulfilled a personal dream for Arokodare, who previously told Soccernet.ng of his admiration for Osimhen and his desire to play alongside him on the national team.

“No one has contacted me yet. I believe if I work hard enough and keep on the course I am now, it [Super Eagles call-up] will definitely come,” he said in an earlier interview.

Fast-forward to now, the Genk striker has not only earned a call-up but also netted his first international goal— scoring in Nigeria's 1-1 draw against Russia in Moscow during the Unity Cup earlier this month.

As Osimhen and Arokodare continue to bond on and off the pitch, they remain central to the Super Eagles' plans ahead of upcoming qualifiers and the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
