WCQ: Watford salutes Ekong, Okoye after playoff qualification

English Premier League side, Watford has congratulated Troost-Ekong and Maduka Okoye after they helped Nigeria qualify for the final phase of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The duo were in action for the Super Eagles as they run out with a draw against Cape Verde on Tuesday, November 16.

The Eagles qualified as Group C winner, after picking 13 points from 6 matches.

Ekong is expected to return to Watford today and join the team ahead of Weekend’s Premier League game against Manchester United, reports
