Tons of Club Olimpia fans stormed the Silvio Pettirossi International Airport, Asuncion, Paraguay, to welcome the arrival of their new striker, Emmanuel Seyi Adebayor.

The 35-year-old Togolese star joined Club Olimpia some days ago as a free agent after ending a brief spell with Turkish side Kayserispor in December.

The former Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham player posted the video of his arrival on Instagram, adding that the fans stayed up all night to welcome him.

"It was about 2AM local time when I landed. Tons of you still showed up at the Airport. Thank you for such a great welcome in Paraguay," the ex-Real Madrid player posted.

Recall that mynigeria.com reported that the South American club will hope to get the best out of Adebayor's wealth of experience having played across Europe's top-flight leagues including Metz and Monaco, and Crystal Palace.

Club Olimpia are the reigning Paraguayan league champions and their captain is 38-year-old former Blackburn striker Roque Santa Cruz.
