Bayer Leverkusen forward Victor Boniface has opened up on his failed move to AC Milan.

Despite Boniface's proposed move gaining widespread attention last week, the Italian giants called off the deal due to the player's poor medical history.

At 24, Boniface has reportedly suffered two Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injuries in his career.

After AC Milan officially withdrew from the deal, the Super Eagles striker found himself at odds with some Nigerian fans online. The fans criticized the Super Eagles striker for excessive social media antics.

One of Boniface's responses to fans was picked up by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who misconstrued the message as being targeted at AC Milan and Bayer Leverkusen fans.

The 24-year-old clarified his social media comments and warned Romano to take down his post, which the Italian transfer guru agreed to do.
