In the UFC, Kamaru Usman is regarded by many as one of the greatest welterweight fighters in the history of mixed martial arts, and the Nigerian’s net worth has grown as a result.

‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ has fought and defeated some massive names inside the octagon, including Colby Covington, Jorge Masvidal, Gilbert Burns, Tyron Woodley, Rafael dos Anjos and Leon Edwards.

With some huge main event bouts already under his belt, it’s not surprising that Usman has been able to gather an impressive level of wealth and a net worth in the millions of dollars.

This number takes into account Usman’s current UFC deal, his endorsements and several fight accomplishments in the sport as a highly ranked welterweight fighter.

As noted, Usman has been in several high-profile bouts during his illustrious MMA career and according to MMASalaries, the biggest payday of his career so fartook place at UFC 251, where he defended his welterweight belt against Jorge Masvidal.

Usman reportedly earned $1,423,333 (N655.4m) overall for the bout, with $600,000 (N276.3m) as a base salary, $783,333 (N360.7m) in estimated PPV payout and $40,000 (N18.4m) in reported sponsorship pay.
