The Blacks Stars of Ghana suffered a humiliating 4-1 defeat to Japan in the Kirin Soccer Cup tournament at the Noevir Stadium Kobe, Japan.
The host thumped a depleted Ghanaian side that had most of their squad missing to injury and positive Covid cases.
The four-nation tourney involves host Japan, Tunisia, Chile and Ghana.

In the other encounter, Tunisia defeated South American side Chile by 2-0 earlier today, June 10.
Japan will play Tunisia in the finals on Tuesday, June 14. Ghana will take on Chile for a third-place finish.
