Barcelona manager, Hansi Flick, has hailed two of his players, Pedri and Frenkie de Jong following his side’s UEFA Champions League 2-1 victory against Newcastle United on Thursday.
According to Flick, opponents find it difficult to put pressure on Barcelona when Pedri and De Jong are present in the squad.
The German spoke at his post-match interview after Barcelona defeated Newcastle at St. James’ Park.
DAILY POST reports that a brace from Marcus Rashford gave the LaLiga champions the victory against the Premier League club.
“With Pedri and Frenkie, it is not easy to put pressure on us,” Flick said.
“I think they both played a very good game today. I am happy that they are playing with that confidence on this pitch.
“We are a very young team. What I can see is that the team is playing with confidence, and that is very important.”
Barcelona are up against Getafe in their next game in the LaLiga this weekend.
