Chelsea midfielder Moisés Caicedo has declared the Blues’ readiness ahead of their UEFA Champions League opener against Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

The world champions will begin their UCL campaign away at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday, September 17.

Enzo Maresca’s side head into the game on the back of a disappointing 2-2 draw with Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday, September 13.

Chelsea currently sit fifth in the Premier League table, having recorded two wins and two draws so far this season.

Speaking after the draw against Brentford, Caicedo expressed disappointment with the result but emphasized the team’s focus and determination ahead of their next challenge against the Bavarians.

“For sure we are disappointed with the result, but now we have another game on Wednesday and we focus on that now.

Everybody is going to be ready,” Caicedo was quoted by Chelsea’s official website as saying.
