Flying Eagles’ left back Solomon Moses is confident that the team will qualify for the semi final of the U-20 WAFU B Championship.

Nigeria will take on Ghana in Port Novo for a place in the last four of the competition which also serves as the qualifiers for the Africa U20 nations cup.

Speaking ahead of the game, Moses said the team is ready to go all out for a win against the Black Starlets after their disappointing draw against Cote d’Ivoire.

“I’m confident of our chances against the Ghanaian U-20 team, on Wednesday; we’re surely going to carry the day, said Moses, who got 90 minutes of action against the Baby Elephants.

“I’m not happy with the draw we played against Cote d’Ivoire, but I want our fans back in Nigeria to believe in the team.

“We’re focused and good to go; our aim is to make our country proud.” He said.

The Flying Eagles will play Black Satellites at Stade de Gaulles on Wednesday 9 December 2020 with kick-off at 4:00pm.
