Nigeria's U-20 side, Flying Eagles have secured their place to the semi-final of the 2025 U-20 African Cup of Nations after beating Senegal.

Both teams failed to find the back of the net in regulation time and in extra time forcing the game to the shootouts.

Aliyu's Zubairu's side triumphed 3-1 from the shootouts to qualify for the last four.

The victory also means Nigeria have secured automatic qualification to the U-20 FIFA World Cup to be hosted by Chile in September.

The semi-final will kick off on Thursday, May 15.
