Popular Turkish commentator Murat Özbostan has revealed that Victor Osimhen’s family opposes his potential move to the Saudi Pro League.
Saudi club Al Hilal has expressed strong interest in signing the 26-year-old this summer and has submitted multiple offers for the Nigerian forward.
However, Osimhen has rejected all proposals from Al Hilal, insisting on remaining in mainstream European football, where he has offers from Juventus, Galatasaray, and several Premier League clubs.
Özbostan suggested that there is a possibility of Osimhen extending his stay at Rams Park this summer.
He added that the striker has yet to make a final decision regarding his future.
"Osimhen is not closing the door on Galatasaray either, but he has not made a clear decision. He is still uncertain," Özbostan said, according to Habersarikirmizi.
"Osimhen’s family is not keen on a move to Saudi Arabia. I think his chances of staying at Galatasaray are around 60%."
"Galatasaray made their offer and then waited. I believe the club’s management is being very generous."
Osimhen had an outstanding campaign with Galatasaray last season, registering 37 goals in 41 appearances for the Turkish giants.
