Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen, has been placed among the top five strikers in global football.
Galatasaray loanee, Przemysław Frankowski has hailed the Nigerian, commending his professionalism and unwavering ambition to score goals.
Osimhen first joined the Turkish champions on loan before finalizing a permanent transfer last summer, and he has since become one of the most pivotal players at Rams Park.
The former Napoli striker has experienced an impressive tenure with the Yellow-Reds, playing a crucial role in the club’s achievements both domestically and in Europe.
Since his arrival at Galatasaray, the Nigerian international has netted 59 goals and provided 16 assists in 74 matches across all competitions, highlighting his significance to Okan Buruk’s team.
In an interview with Onet, as referenced by Fanatik, Frankowski offered high praise for Osimhen, labeling him as one of the best strikers in the sport.
“Victor Osimhen… A world-class striker, possibly among the top five forwards globally,” Frankowski remarked.
“His thorough preparation for matches and his unyielding determination to score goals are genuinely commendable. In fact, I could discuss each of them for hours.”
Frankowski is well-acquainted with Osimhen from their shared time at Galatasaray, having initially joined the Turkish champions on loan from the French club Lens during the winter transfer window of the 2024/2025 season.
The Polish full-back subsequently secured a permanent transfer valued at €7 million prior to the commencement of the 2025/2026 season.
However, Frankowski has since been loaned to Ligue 1 side, Rennes on a one-year agreement, which includes a conditional obligation to finalize the transfer.
As the 2026/2027 season nears, Osimhen aims to enhance his scoring tally and continue spearheading Galatasaray’s pursuit of additional domestic trophies and a more profound journey in European competitions.
