Transfer: Sevilla targets another Super Eagles striker to rival Iheanacho

Spanish La Liga outfit Sevilla are reportedly considering the signing of Super Eagles striker Umar Sadiq from Real Sociedad.

The Rojiblancos are looking to add more firepower to their attack, which has performed poorly this season.

Despite bringing in the likes of Kelechi Iheanacho, Chidera Ejuke, and Peque Fernandez last summer, García Pimienta's side has struggled in front of goal in the current La Liga campaign.

Sevilla have managed just 14 goals in 15 La Liga outings this season and currently sit 11th on the league log.

According to Ekrem Konur, Sadiq has emerged as a prime target for the seven-time Europa League winners.

Sadiq has struggled to secure regular playing time at Sociedad after recovering from his anterior cruciate ligament injury. The 27-year-old has managed just four starts in 35 La Liga appearances for his side.

Reports indicate that the former UD Almería striker is willing to move to the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán on a loan deal.
