German defender Antonio Rüdiger has decided to stay at Real Madrid despite interest from the Saudi Pro League.
The 31-year-old was exceptional for Carlo Ancelotti's side last season, producing solid performances in defense that helped Los Blancos secure the UEFA Champions League and La Liga titles.
There were reports that the former Chelsea defender received a lucrative proposal from Saudi club Al Ittihad.
However, transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano revealed that Rüdiger did not consider the offer as he remains focused on Real Madrid.
"Despite reports of a huge proposal from Al Ittihad, Toni Rüdiger is not even considering leaving Real Madrid this summer," Romano said.
"He is fully focused on the Real Madrid project and has no plans to join the Saudi Pro League now, despite interest. The feeling is mutual, as Real Madrid considers Rüdiger untouchable."
