Portuguese champions FC Porto have decided not to activate the purchase option for Nigerian international Terem Moffi.
Moffi joined Porto on a loan deal for the remainder of the season from OGC Nice in January.
The move was prompted by an assault on the Nigerian international and his teammate Jeremy Boga by the club's fans in December, following a defeat to Lorient in Ligue 1.
Boga, on the other hand, secured a loan move to Serie A giants Juventus in the same month.
Recent reports from Portugal indicate that FC Porto will not be exercising the €8m purchase option for the former Lorient striker at the end of the season.
Moffi registered two goals and provided one assist in 15 appearances for the Dragões, helping them to win the league title.
