A Sport commentator, Zeki Uzundurukan has revealed that Victor Osimhen met with his Nigerian international teammate, Ademola Lookman during the Super Eagles’ recent World Cup playoff win against Gabon, over making a move to Galatasaray in 2026.

Uzundurukan insisted that Osimhen told Lookman to make a transfer move to Galatasaray next year, adding that the Atalanta forward also wants to move to the Turkish Super Lig champions.

Recall that Nigeria defeated Gabon 4-1 in Morocco to set up a meeting against DR Congo on Sunday.

Lookman has been linked with a move to Galatasaray ahead of the January transfer window after he failed to leave Atalanta last summer.

Providing an update on Lookman amid interest from Galatasaray, Uzundurukan said via Habersarikirmizi: “Victor Osimhen met with Ademola Lookman during the Gabon match.

“Osimhen told Lookman to come to Galatasaray and gave him information. Lookman also wants to come to Galatasaray, and his annual salary is €8 million,” he said.
