Al Hilal's new manager, Simone Inzaghi, has reportedly contacted Victor Osimhen to persuade the Nigerian international to consider a move to the Saudi Pro League this summer.

According to Italian publication Il Mattino, via Napoli Calcio News, the former Inter Milan manager called the Super Eagles striker to share the club's project with him as part of the club's efforts to lure the Napoli striker.

The 26-year-old has rejected multiple lucrative offers from Al Hilal, as he is reportedly interested in a move to a top European club.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the new contract proposal is worth around £34 million a year and close to £140 million over a possible four-year deal.

Osimhen would surpass Odion Ighalo as the highest-paid Nigerian player in history and would become one of the best-paid footballers in the world.

Al Hilal are reportedly ready to pay the player's €75 million release clause to Napoli to complete the move.
