A potential move to Spain could be on the cards for Nigeria’s Ademola Lookman, according to recent reports.

BarcaTimes, via Catalunya Radio, reports that Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has identified the reigning African Footballer of the Year as a strong addition to strengthen their attack on the left flank.

According to the report, the German tactician views the 27-year-old as an attractive and financially viable option, with a potential move from Atalanta valued at just €30 million.

The Spanish champions are in the market for a left winger, with reports linking Liverpool’s Luis Díaz and Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford to the Catalan club.

However, Barcelona’s financial situation has become a stumbling block to any potential move for either Díaz or Rashford, which makes Lookman’s signing a realistic possibility.

The Super Eagles winger had an outstanding season with Atalanta, registering 20 goals and seven assists under Gian Piero Gasperini.
