Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahçe are reportedly keen on signing Nigerian international Ademola Lookman.
According to reports, Fenerbahçe are preparing a bid worth €42m to sign the Atalanta forward this January.
Sport Mediaset journalist Orazio Accomando reports that the Istanbul-based club wants to sign Lookman on an initial loan deal worth €5m, with an obligation to buy for €37m at the end of the season, bringing the total deal to €42m.
“Fenerbahçe continue to monitor the situation of Ademola Lookman. The Turkish club are preparing an offer for a paid loan worth €5m, with a purchase option or obligation set at €37m,” the report said.
Lookman has been identified as a high-profile signing for the Turkish Super Lig side this January.
Talks are, however, said to be at an early stage between the club and Lookman's camp.
Lookman has long been linked with a potential move to Fenerbahçe's arch-rivals Galatasaray with the possibility of teaming up with Super Eagles teammate Victor Osimhen.
