Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray are reportedly preparing a move for Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson, following the imminent completion of Victor Osimhen’s transfer.
According to Galatasaray journalist Haluk Yürekli, Osimhen’s permanent move from Napoli to Turkey is expected to be finalized within the next three days.
Once the Nigerian striker’s signing is officially announced, Galatasaray will shift their attention to securing Ederson as a replacement for long-serving Uruguayan goalkeeper Fernando Muslera, who recently departed the club after 14 years.
“Galatasaray and Napoli have reached an agreement regarding Osimhen. Galatasaray will pay €75 million—€40 million upfront, and the remaining €35 million in two installments with a bank guarantee,” Yürekli revealed via Habersarikirmizi.
“A period of at least two to three days is needed for Osimhen to be officially announced.”
Yürekli also confirmed that Ederson’s representatives recently met with Galatasaray official Abdullah Kavukçu in Istanbul to finalize terms.
“The agents of Ederson, Galatasaray’s top goalkeeper candidate, recently met with Abdullah Kavukçu in Istanbul. The terms and conditions have been finalized. Once the official signings for the Osimhen transfer are completed, Ederson’s turn will come.”
