Nigerian striker Cyriel Dessers could be on his way out of Ibrox Stadium this summer, with reports linking him to a move away from the Scottish league.
According to multiple sources, Greek Super League side AEK Athens has shown keen interest in signing the Super Eagles forward.
The Daily Record reports that the 30-year-old has reached a verbal agreement with the former Greek champions over a potential transfer this summer.
Despite a difficult start to the recently concluded season, Dessers had an impressive campaign with the Gers—netting 29 goals in 55 appearances across all competitions.
Reports indicate that AEK Athens has proposed a £30,000-per-week deal for the former Cremonese striker.
"Maverick hitman Cyriel Dessers has shaken hands on a £30,000-a-week deal with AEK Athens."
"He’s verbally agreed to a bumper contract that will see him earn around €1.8 million per year with the former Super League champions," the Scottish outlet reported.
Dessers' market value is estimated to be around €4 million.
