Bayern Munich fans have made their stance clear on the choice of striker they deem fit to fill the void left by the departure of Robert Lewandowski.
The Bavarians are believed to be keen on Harry Kane but have reportedly had a verbal offer of £60 million plus add-ons rejected by Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs do not seem willing to sell their striker - who has one year remaining on his contract - but Bayern Munich appear ready to test the club's resolve.
A recent online poll conducted by Kicker has shown Bayern Munich fans would prefer to see the Bundesliga champion sign Kane over any other striker this summer.
Bayern Munich fans pick Kane
The poll, which saw two hundred and forty-two thousand fans (242.8K) vote, showed that 34% agreed with the club's apparent preference for the Tottenham star.
He was well ahead of Eintracht Frankfurt's Randal Kolo Muani (18%), Napoli's Victor Osimhen (16%), Juventus' Dusan Vlahovic (13%) and Werder Bremen's Niclas Füllkrug (11%).
Per SkySports, Bayern reportedly made an opening offer of €70mil plus bonuses to Spurs for Kane, which was rebuffed. However, the Bavarians are believed to be planning another offer for the English striker.
With 12 months remaining on his current deal, it has been widely reported the Premier League side are unlikely to accept anything less than €100mil for their lynchpin, who scored 30 goals in 38 EPL games last season.
Regarding the future of Napoli’s Osimhen, the Serie A champions remain hopeful the Nigerian forward will sign a contract extension with the club.
Nothing much has come of Bayern’s apparent interest in Vlahovic, while Kolo Muani could remain at Eintracht Frankfurt beyond the summer transfer window.
