Atalanta have reportedly rejected Inter Milan’s latest offer for Nigerian international Ademola Lookman.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Serie A giants submitted a bid of €40 million plus €5 million in add-ons for the reigning African Footballer of the Year.
However, the Bergamo-based club is holding out for a higher fee, reportedly in the region of €50 million.
Lookman is said to be interested in a move to the Nerazzurri and has reportedly agreed to personal terms with the club.
Inter are keen to finalize the deal this week, ahead of the Serie A campaign kicking off next month.
Lookman enjoyed a stellar season with La Dea last term, scoring 20 goals in 40 appearances across all competitions.
