Tobi Amusan shortlisted for World Athlete of the Year Award

World champion Tobi Amusan has been shortlisted for the Women's World Athlete of the Year Award by the World Athletics.

The 25-year-old was selected as part of 10 nominees for the prestigious award organised by the world athletic body.

The nominees were picked by international athletics experts from all six continents of the world.

The Nigerian athletic queen is an African champion, Diamond League champion, World Athletics champion, and Commonwealth Games champion in the women's 100 metres hurdles event.

Amusan currently holds the world record of 12.12 seconds in the women's 100 metres hurdles race.
