Madagascar midfielder Rayan Raveloson has disclosed that his side are not afraid of facing the star-studded Super Eagles in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The three-time African champions will lock horns with the Indian Ocean islanders in their AFCON qualifying opener at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Friday, September 25.

The Barea come into the game as huge underdogs, facing a Nigeria team replete with stars competing at top European clubs.

Amedspor midfielder Raveloson, however, believes that Madagascar are unfazed by the stars that will be paraded by Eric Chelle against them.

“It’s football, they are humans like us, so we are not scared,” he told reporters after touching down at the Uyo airport following his team’s arrival.

Meanwhile, Eric Chelle’s side held their first training session on Tuesday night following the arrival of skipper Wilfred Ndidi and Samuel Chukwueze.
