Former Super Eagles Head Coach Sunday Oliseh feels there more to come from African teams competing at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Senegal beat hosts Qatar and Ecuador to qualify for the knock out phase, while Morocco finished as Group F winner with seven points.


The Atlas Lions drew 2018 finalists Croatia, before defeating world number two, Belgium and debutants Canada to seal passage to the next round.

Tunisia on their part narrowly missed out, but earned a famous victory over defending Champions in their last Group games.

Although Ghana and Cameroon are walking on tight rope at the moment, but their campaign has been impressive and already surpassed expectations.

Reacting to the performance, Excited Oliseh praised all the team, noting that there is more good results to come from the teams.

“The Euphoria here in Qatar is infectious as Morocco, achieve a historic 2nd round World cup Qualification. 1st, Senegal now this. What a world cup for Africa with African coaches! I feel more is coming”, The former Juventus and Ajax Amsterdam Midfielder said in a tweet.
