The moment Osimhen handed over his penalty duty to teammate despite being the number one taker

Victor Osimhen demonstrated a positive footballing gesture on his return from injury during Napoli's UEFA Champions League clash against Dutch champions, Ajax at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on October 12.

Osimhen, who was introduced into the game from the bench after being on the sidelines for 5 weeks was in no hurry to get on the scoresheet.

Despite being the designated first-choice penalty taker for the team, the 23-year-old went the extra mile to pick up the loose ball and handed it over to teammate Khvicha Kvaratskhelia who made no mistake from the spot.

Interestingly, the Super Eagles striker would later go ahead to score at the dying embers of the game as the Partenopies wrapped up a comprehensive 4-2 win to qualify for the knockout stage.

Osimhen demonstrated real team solidarity and leadership by urging the young Georgian sensational.

The left winger who joined Napoli in the summer has been in blistering form for Luciano Spalletti's side.

The 21-year-old has managed an astonishing 8 goals and 10 assists in 16 games across all competitions for Napoli this season.
