The captain of the super Eagles of Nigerien Ahmed Musa has showed appreciation to Nigerians for the support during the African Cup of Nations(AFCON).
The super Eagles were eliminated from the competition in the round of 16 stage where they suffered a 1-0 defeat to Tunisia on Saturday, January 22, 2022.
In a Twitter post, Ahmed Musa stated how he and his team gave their 100% and unfortunately it wasn't good enough to take them through the end of the competition.
He also stated that this was not the end of the road for them and that they won't give and will do better with the support and prayers of Nigerians.
"In life,things wouldn't always go the way we want them to and that's something we have to accept however hard it is."he added.
