Super Falcons battle ready for Mexico - Plumptre

Ashleigh Plumptre says Super Falcons are ready for the clash against Mexico.

Super Falcons will trade tackles with the hosts in the city of Leon later this evening.

Speaking in a short video interview posted on the Super Falcons Twitter handle, on Wednesday, Plumptre said, “We prepare for every game knowing we are trying to win and we will compete to the best of our ability to make sure we get the results. I’ve prepared myself in the same way for every game and we are ready to go.”

Leicester City defender, Plumptre is expected to start the game, alongside Osinachi Ohale in the heart of the defense.

The match will kick off at 10 pm Nigerian time.

The competition will serve as part of Super Falcons’ preparations for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup to be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.
