Super Eagles striker faces contract termination

A permanent departure from Nottingham Forest could be on the cards for Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Dennis.

Despite the club's qualification for the Europa League this season, which means extra fixtures for Nuno Espírito Santo's side, it appears the former Watford striker still remains surplus to requirements at the club.

According to reports, the Tricky Trees are willing to let go of the 27-year-old without a transfer fee.

Dennis didn't feature for a single minute under Nuno Espírito Santo during pre-season.

The Nigerian international was also left out of the team for the entirety of last season and later went on loan to Blackburn Rovers in the second half of the campaign.

According to Premier League commentator Ben Jacobs (via nottinghamforest.news), Forest are considering terminating Dennis’ contract, as he is not in the club’s plans for the season.

Dennis joined the Tricky Trees from Watford in 2022 after the club was relegated from the Premier League.
