Super Eagles maintain 32nd, 3rd positions in the world, Africa in FIFA ranking

Nigeria's Super Eagles maintain their number; 32 according to May’s rankings released by the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA).

The latest FIFA World Ranking was released and published on FIFA’s official website on Thursday, May 27.

In Africa, the Super Eagles with 1487 points also maintain their position at number three.

Senegal is ranked first in Africa and 22nd in the world with 1542 points, while Tunisia’s Carthage Eagles – who are also unmoved – remain 26th globally and second in Africa after accruing 1512 points.

The top five teams in the world remain unchanged with Belgium in the number one position, while France, Brazil England and Portugal follow in that order.

Nigeria has two friendlies lined up against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in Austria in June.
