The Super Eagles of Nigeria will face the Pharaohs of Egypt in a high-profile international friendly later today, Tuesday, December 16.
The match will be played at the Cairo International Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 7:00 pm local time.
The encounter forms part of both teams’ preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.
So far, 22 players have reported to the Super Eagles’ camp at the Renaissance Hotel in Cairo.
Key players such as Victor Osimhen, Moses Simon, and Samuel Chukwueze are expected to link up with the squad directly in Morocco, according to Daily Post.
The 35th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations will be held from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
