The Super Eagles of Nigeria have fallen one place in the latest FIFA rankings for national teams.
Eric Chelle’s side now sits at 44th in the world, according to FIFA’s release on Thursday, July 10.
The three-time African champions are currently ranked fifth on the continent.
Morocco retained their top spot in Africa, followed by Senegal, Egypt, and Algeria.
Nigeria recently played to a 1–1 draw against Russia in an international friendly last month.
On the global stage, Argentina maintained their number one spot.
