Spurs chase young Nigerian left-back

Nigeria-eligible fullback, Destiny Udogie has attracted interest from the Premier League side, Tottenham Hotspurs according to Sky Sports transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

Antonio Conte's side are looking to add the 19-year-old to their left flank acquisitions following the arrival of Croatian, Ivan Perisic on a free transfer from Inter.

Destiny, who was on loan at Udinese from Hellas Verona had an impressive season with the White and Blacks.

The Italian international of Nigeria descent scored five goals and provided three assists for Udinese in the previous campaign, playing on the left flank as both full-back and wing-back.

Antonio Conte could face competition from his former club, Inter as the Serie A giants are also rumored to be interested in the 19-year-old.

Udogie is eligible to feature for the Super Eagles since he is yet to make a senior team appearance for The Azures.
