Demir Grup Sivasspor have completed the signing of Nigerian forward Leke James from Saudi Arabia side Al Qadisiyah, with the former FC Molde star becoming the second Nigerian to join the Turkish side this summer.

The Braves continued their association with Nigerian international Kayode Olanrewaju a few days ago after renewing his season-long loan deal from Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk.

And with a particular focus on their maiden Europa Conference League campaign later in the season, Sivasspor have added 28-year-old James to their playing personnel.

James inked the official contract at a ceremony attended by President Mecnun Otyakmaz in Istanbul.

With 103 goals and 22 assists in 222 official matches in his career, James is a proven goalscorer and a quality addition.

The one-time Super Eagles hopeful enjoyed one of his most successful spells at Norwegian outfit Molde, but he surprised many when he quit the club last year to move to Saudi Arabia.

But after just two goals in seven league matches, James returns to Europe, where he hopes to form a lethal strike partnership with compatriot Olanrewaju.
