Simon shines as Nantes beat Montpellier in Ligue 1

Nigerian winger Moses Simon was in action as Nantes beat Montpellier 3-0 at the Stade de la Mason on Sunday, January 15.

The 27-year-old was very enterprising as Nantes produced their best performance away from home this season.

Andrei gave the visitors the lead on the stroke of halftime to ensure that Nantes went into the break with a one-goal lead.

Second half substitute Mostafa Mohammed doubled the Nantes' lead in the 81st minute before Ludovic Blas added third three minutes later.

Simon had a shot on target, completed three take ons, but also picked up a yellow card as per Brila.net

The home side had two players sent off after Tunisian international Wabhi Khazri and Sepe Elye Wahi were given their matching orders to give Nantes the numerical advantage.
