Italian Serie A club AS Roma are in pursuit of Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi this summer.
Roma are keen on replacing Romelu Lukaku with the OGC Nice striker after the Belgium returned to Chelsea after his loan spell.
The club have identified the Nigerian international as a player who can fill the void left by Lukaku.
Moffi was signed by Roma director Florent Ghisolfi from Lorient during his time as Nice sporting director.
The 25-year-old registered 11 goals in in 32 appearances for Nice last season.
In a related development, Cyriel Dessers is another Super Eagles player who has been linked with a move to Serie A.
The 29-year-old has attracted interest from Cagliari following his impressive campaign with Rangers last term.
Dessers netted 22 goals in 54 appearances across all competitions for Glasgow Ranger last season.
