Renowned Nigerian comedian, Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, popularly known as Sabinus, has shown his appreciation for a talented photographer's work by gifting him N500,000.
The photographer, Pooja, captured an iconic shot of Sabinus during a charity match last weekend, and the comedian was so impressed that he rewarded him with the generous sum.
Pooja is a highly acclaimed and accredited FIFA and CAF photojournalist in Nigeria, known as one of the best in Africa.
He has covered several high-profile events, including the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar and the recently concluded African Cup of Nations.
Sabinus was among the stars who participated in William Troost-Ekong's charity event on Sunday, June 2.
The event brought together an impressive lineup of football greats, including Vincent Enyeama, Ahmed Musa, Brown Ideye, Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho, and Nwankwo Kanu, as well as celebrities like Sabinus, Falz, Odumodublvck, Pocolee, and Ebuka.
