Ronaldo vs Messi: Nigerian Rapper Odumodublvck explains why Leo is GOAT, advises CR7

Nigerian singer and rapper, Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has disclosed why Lionel Messi is the greatest footballer in history ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The popular Nigerian singer is known to be a fan of football, due to his type of songs and how he relates with netizens about the sports on social media.

Odumodublvck became a global sensation when he dropped 'Declan Rice' in 2023, a song dedicated to Arsenal and England international Declan Rice.

The Nigerian rapper has always portrayed himself to be a fan of Arsenal and La Liga side Barcelona, and in a recent interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra, the singer explained why Messi is the best football in history ahead of Ronaldo, according to a report by Daily Post.

"Messi or Ronaldo? Messi. I am a Messi fan. I had to put that out. King of football," he said.

"Cleared everybody’s doubts – and he won the World Cup. After losing five or four finals with Argentina.

"That is a symbol of hope, a symbol of determination. Do not give up."

The Declan Rice crooner also claimed he draws inspiration from the former Paris Saint-Germain star in regards to his music career.

"I am 30 years old; a lot of artists blew up when they were 20/21," he added.

"I know how far I have come to get here. It took me seven years to get to this point, so when I look at Messi, I draw inspiration. That is why he is the greatest."

The Nigerian singer has some beautiful words about Ronaldo but sent a piece of strong advice to the former Manchester United forward.

"Shoutout to Ronaldo because of hard work. Ronaldo is that guy too. And there is no problem if someone is better than you at something. That is my message to Ronaldo," he concluded.
