On his part, Remo Stars Head Coach, Daniel Ogunmodede, highlighted the role of the stadium in the Sky Blue Stars’ qualification for the CAFCC and expressed his readiness to sustain the legacy of the club.

He said, “I am here to keep the legacy and tradition of the club. We are just coming (to CAF Confederation Cup) for the first time in the history of the club.

“Kudos to the club, coach, and technical crew. My biggest target is to win all games as they come. It is not impossible to win.

“The standard of the stadium has contributed tremendously to the success of the team and how we have been able to perform.

“We are not thereby surprised; it is a systematic plan and it has come to pass. It is a great achievement for the club and country. It has been helping tremendously for the success of the club.

“I prefer our home ground. I am sure the management will put in place every necessary thing that would help us to host games here. This is simply the best. The facilities are incomparable with many stadia in the country presently.”
