Reason why Michael Oliseh didn't celebrate his stunner against Manchester United revealed

Super Eagles-eligible Crytal Palace winger Michael Oliseh made the headlines on Wednesday night after his stoppage time stunning free-kick levelled matters for the Eagles at Selhurst Park.

Michael Olise's 91st-minute superb hit rescued a point for Crystal Palace after Portuguese international Bruno Fernandes had given the Red Devils the lead in the first half.

Despite scoring an important goal to rescue a point for Patrick Viera's side at the dying embers of the game, the 21-year-old didn't celebrate which has left many fans wondering.

Amazingly, it appears it wasn't the first time in his career Oliseh has failed to celebrate after scoring an important goal for his club.

Oliseh's teammate at Reading, Michael Morrison back in 2021 revealed that not celebrating after scoring in games has been part of the young winger.

"We’d say he’s a bit weird sometimes because when he scored goals, he sometimes wouldn’t celebrate," he told The Athletic.

"We’d be like, ‘Mike, you’ve just scored an important goal and you’re just walking back?’. What’s he doing?

"We never really worked out why. He could never give us an answer but he’s just different; a special player," he added.
