Following their victory over Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League, some Nigeria-based Chelsea fans have backed Graham Potter to remain at the club.

The Blues beat the Bundesliga side 2-0 at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night courtesy of goals from Raheem Sterling and Kai Havertz from 12 yards to turn the tie on its head after losing 1-0 at Signal Iduna in the first leg.

The win comes as a relief for Graham Potter who has been under enormous pressure since taking over from Thomas Tuchel.

Prior to their Premier League clash against Leeds United last weekend, the Blues had managed just two wins in 12 games.

Reacting to their recent victory, some fans who spoke to the popular football fan page, Football Fans Tribe called on the team's hierarchy to give the English manager ample time to turn things around at the club.

Other fans called for a tie against defending champions, Real Madrid in the quarterfinals as they believe Potter's side can edge the 14-time European champions.
