Por vs Nig: Wild reactions as 'disappointed' Finidi George begs for Pepe's jersey after thrashing

Reactions have trailed an attempt by Super Eagles Assistant Coach, Finidi George to get the jersey of Portugal defender, Pepe.

In the video, George after the game requested the jersey of Pepe, who through hand gestures pointed out that Super Eagles winger, Simon Moses had already made the same request.

This act was one of the few talking points from the 4-0 loss Nigeria suffered in Lisbon on Thursday, November 17.

The defeat was also the heaviest defeat for the Super Eagles against a Portuguese team among the favorites for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The defeat incurred the wrath of Nigerians who questioned the spirit of the team.

The video clip of the exchange between George, Simon, and Pepe, however, has gone viral.
